Not trying to reply for Z but I would guess that many men with a SO pay for sex for the same reasons that I do, I've been maried for 30 years and when I was first dating, engaged, even the first few years of marriage, sex was plentiful and varied, meaning, lots of BJ's, 69, sex where ever and when ever wanted. That changed over time due to children, work, life in general, you get to a point where you almost have to schedule sex and BJ's disappear altogether. Next is variety, although we may love our SO's and love the life that we have, variety is the spice of life. To get all attention on you for an hour and then a HE on top of that takes the edge off and at least for me, makes me a better, happier husband when I'm not walking around sexually frustrated.

Many of us have too much to lose by divorcing and living a life where you can have sex whenever you want. We have children that when you divorce, things change, sometimes children side with the mother. We own businesses, have 401 k, retirement, homes, to lose 50% or more when you are in your late 50's or early 60's is devasting and a loss that can't be made up.

I'm sure that some guys with SO's go to AMPs or get with prostitutes to do things sexually that their So's won't do.

I can say one other thing for me is, when I was younger I remember looking at porn magazines and being attracted to Asian's but never had any around me and never really understood how attracted I was to them. As I got older and realized how much I really loved the Asians, its a way for me to fulfill that desire. Had I known then, what I know now, I most likely would have married an Asian girl and who knows, maybe I would be perplexed by cheating as well? Hope this helps.

Ask masseuses questions to be certain she's working only because she needs the money -- and not because she was or is forced (other than by need to earn a living). I've been doing that and haven't met even 1 masseuse who says she was forced or "trafficked". All say nobody forced them to be sex workers and that they do it only because they need the money. Many are single moms struggling to support children. The human trafficking or sex trafficking narrative from all I can see is BS, probably because on some level everybody realizes there is nothing wrong, morally, about sex between consenting adults, even if it is paid for. On the other hand, "trafficking" or force is obviously wrong, so authoritarian moralists insist on conflating sex work with "trafficking" when they are not the same.

I've been going to AMPs off and on since The Boston Phoenix days but fairly steadily for the last fifteen years or so. In that time not one girl has ever told me they were doing this against their will nor did they know of anyone being forced to do it. I often talk with the girls (not just in the spa, I have hung out with a few outside as well but those are usually testing the waters for marriage LOL) and I've had many of them tell me about their personal lives. I hear similar stories from many of them. Almost all of them were married in China, have at least one child, and are now divorced. They work here to provide for their children who are usually still in China. Others were saving to open a business (usually a nail salon) and there were those that sent money home to support their parents. While I am just one guy, you would think throughout the years and the dozens (or more) of AMPs I've been to and the hundreds of women I've seen, I would have encountered or heard of at least one who was forced against her will. I'm not saying it doesn't happen just that it's much, much, rarer than it's made out to be by the government and the press.

A recent example for me: We all know how the Asian age thing works but it still surprises me sometimes. Earlier this year as I was getting ready to leave a place, I asked the girl her age. She told me to guess. I said twenty five. (She actually looked about thirty but always better to guess low on a woman's age). She giggled, thanked me, and got her phone. She then told me she was forty three and showed me pictures of her twenty one year old daughter that she was putting through college.

I think many of us can relate to this description of why we seek out other women and I too admit to being attracted to Asian women.

But I think it's also a behavior inherited in men to "spread our genes" to other women. I was reading about rich men in China and many are not only married with children but also have a beautiful woman in another city, rent a nice apartment and give her lots of money. But what surprised me was that sometimes they have children with the girlfriend and is generally accepted in China, and begrudgingly accepted by the wife!

The spa's location was remote. Nothing else nearby was open. It was after dark. There was only 1 car parked outside the spa when I arrived. When I left a police car with bright flashing lights was stopped behind that car. The driver of the car, a man, was standing next to his car talking with police when I left. I don't know what happened, but since the New Hampshire Attorney General recently announced 40% of all massage businesses in New Hampshire have been closed, presumably with more to come, because of their involvement with human trafficking, and because the State Attorney General says the focus in the future will be on arresting massage spa customers, since it is customers who keep human sex trafficking going by patronizing such businesses, caution is advised. Think through what your answers will be if police interrogate you as you leave a massage parlor. Don't admit to having paid for sexual contact. Exercise your right to remain silent.

Don't negotiate tips with masseuses. If they insist, continue to refuse and leave without the happy ending (or more) you hoped for when you entered the spa.

Sexual contact is illegal only if you agree to pay for sexual contact. If you pay only for a massage, any sexual activity between you and the masseuse is sex between consenting adults, which is legal.

If a masseuse has sexual contact with you without negotiating a fee for sexual contact, give her a generous tip for her massage. If she refuses to have sexual contact because you refuse to refuse to put yourself in violation of state law criminalizing sexual contact for a fee, tip her anyway, but only as you leave so there is no doubt you are not paying for sexual contact. If enough of us do that, masseuses might stop insisting on an explicit agreement of payment for sexual contact with customers.

Scam. They will most likely ask you to send a picture to them ot the card with the number or part of the number. Move on or lie and tell them you have the gift card if you want to know how it works.

I've decided to go monk for a few months, figure things out. In Methuen they want to install license plate readers. So great, instead of Chinese massage parlors it's the Chinese surveillance state. In a few years I'm sure they'll upgrade to facial recognition technology. At that point it becomes guilt by association. If you have any connection to your community, criminal prosecution won't matter if you can be found guilty in the court of public opinion.

Hopefully these dumpy towns can do something with the empty commercial space and all the tax revenue they're not getting.

Anybody else so discouraged they are ready to throw in the towel on this hobby? I'm mid-60's and been a pretty serious monger for 13-14 years. With all the closings in NH, I was VERY close to venturing down to Methuen (where I have been many times but not in last year) and I just read they had a HUGE bust in that town closing 7 places. Worse, they say they have pics of car plates from at least one place, and they intend to follow up on those. Between nothing being especially close to me now that is still open and the increasing interest of towns to "take action" I am thinking maybe it's been a good run and time to go back to porn and self pleasure. Anyone else looking at this differently? (I do have a SO who would be devastated if the extent of my hobby were known.).

It's been on my mind since the NH crackdown. And more so since Methuen. I will be more diligent in where I park from now on. As well as being more cautious than normal regarding entrance / exit visibility. No more street side storefronts or stoplight / corner adjacent places.

Anything in NH and MA North Shore (like Ipswich Turnpike) are extraordinarily risky now. Unfortunate w / are / t IpTpk, too. Candy recently was graduated to be my new ATF for the "under two hour drive" place. Brattleboro may still be viable, although parking away and walking discretely to the store front will be the new normal. Even there, there has some history of enforcement over the last few years.

Myself, like some others I am sure, have a high end independent UTR (that we visit occasionally. She may become my only periodic relaxation event going forward, albeit at a greatly increased time between visits due to budget pressures.
