Posts: 487Wow. I'm hoping that no contact from LE by this point, almost a week after it was shut down, means there won't be contact from them.

They are easy to spot though, not mounted in the woods. They are also solar powered, correct

Posts: 2210Flock cameras have 24 hour surveillance, day / night vision, constant power, license plate capture, more. https://www.flocksafety.com/ As do other systems.

Posts: 101I'm not a lawyer so you can disregard all of this if you like, I wouldn't blame you. But, it is not illegal to enter a massage parlor for a massage, even one that is purportedly providing services extra-judicially. Entering an establishment does not constitute proof that a person engaged in illegal activity. It is also not illegal to be naked in that establishment. This is an established norm in the industry. Nobody but the client and MT knows what happens behind a locked door. To establish illegality, the MT would have to be a witness in court against said client. What happens if they have already left the state? Could they really pick someone out of a lineup? Would they?

Anyone know the girl who was arrested if she was the owner or just one of the monthly girls? Like was she just unlucky enough to have just been there that day?
I saw the charges of promoting prostitution and money laundering, so it sounded more like the mamasan, but I saw the mugshot and she didn't look familiar to me, but I hadn't been in there for a couple of months.

Posts: 330Getting a massage is not illegal, so I doubt it.

The uhaul trucks most likely blocked alot of the views and potential of reading anything, second I am unaware of any camera system that can 24 hour surveillance with constant power. So that at I would call bs.

I looked at the comments section for the story on Channel 9's Facebook page. A commenter claimed they were recording and monitoring from both the hillside across the street and the back of the building to catch license plates of people parking in the back.

Still, it has me wondering. Any lawyers here, or anyone with enough legal knowledge to say whether LE might contact guys who were spotted entering the place?

Posts: 1125Its the exact same as its always been. It just looks worse bc of the way they tailor the articles. They are primarily looking for politicians and their own so they can jockey for position. The residual individuals then make up the remainder of the numbers. Look at the one they announced yesterday, 2 bad guys, and 11 good guys, 13 total arrests over a month. Theres only so many people out there to arrest bc theyve saturated the market with these stings and haven't changed anything. However, there will always be a dozen or so out there who will fall for it especially during big events (i.e. nba all star game 2022) so they will keep doing it. Besides, theyre primarily looking for bad guys and fellow politicians now at this stage.

Involvement escalates everything. They get the local businesses to watch for them and report back. Just more eyes and more undercover visits for the situation. They are involved in every county around here. Some have been for a while and others just getting going. Look at all the LEO activity in Northeast Ohio.
Stay safe.
