Posts: 147Tijuana Multi-night Budget Guide
For those who travel and stay 3-5+ nights in TJ its good to have a guide to be budget wise on your trip. Overall, the biggest points are to limit the lady drinks you buy and find entertaining things to do outside of being in the clubs. Another good idea is to only take girls from the related club to the hotel you stay at. The Chicago club hotel isn't great, but you can "crash" sleep there a couple hours then get more rest the next night at Cascades or Rizo. You can often check in early at both places.
Most women in TJ won't charge much more for multi hours or an overnight than for the 30-60 minutes session. For example, $120 for up to an hour vs $300 for an overnight. So it could be cheaper to stay a night with one women than a night in the club with 2-3 plus drinks and tips.
Having some entertaining activities helps too. If your at Rizo or Cascades hotels you can watch porn in the room. Sitting on Rizo balcony and watching HK girls go into work or customers walk back with girls can be fun. Rio also has a bar in hotel where you can see the guys come back with girls. There is a bar with a balcony where you can see both constitution & ally girls.
You can walk around & check out the street girls. It is definately possible to pick up. The bar girls outside of actually going into the clubs. Some will give out numbers instantly even without buying a lady drink. Collect some numbers and text back & forth to get best service & rates. $150 for 30 minutes can quickly turn into $100-$120 for 60 minutes after a few hours without a client.

Crossed the border on Christmas evening (Thursday). PedEast was pretty empty but still kinda slow with only one agent each for Mexicans and Foreigners. Was strict on passports.
Things were pretty dead, HK did have the usual ladies from skinny to thick. Only saw one girl that was super attractive to me but couldn't talk her into a BBBJ so skipped. $150 for a stripper in tijuana is just not worth it when we are lucky enough in San Diego where you can get treated like a king for similar at a lot of the AMPs. I will only take a girl upstairs from HK if I am super attracted (no compromises) or / and I can get them to agree to at least a BBBJ. Messaged my favorite HK girl but she said she was at her parents and not working until after the new year.
Soap / bubble show was the popular spot while I was there. Live band in one of the side rooms was wayyyy too loud not many people hanging out in that area.
Checked out the SW scene outside and it was really dead. Maybe 10 15 girls total between the 4 surrounding streets within a few blocks.
Debated between crossing the border back to SD and using the money I didn't spend at HK or looking for something cheaper while I'm in TJ anyways.
After asking around for a little while, little man took over ended up getting a cheap BBBJ from one that wasn't super attractive haha.
Got some huge post nut clarity so I wanted forget the face that made me finish. Crossed the street and ended up getting CBJ / cfs with a petite one with braces that was decently cute at least with the makeup (I think her name was Estrella?) She did the thing where she poked my condom covered dick into a piece of toilet paper so that it stayed at the base? And the piece of toilet paper kept flapping around while I'm thrusting and that kinda pissed me off LOL.
Got some street tacos outside and taxi'd back to la linea and I've never seen it so empty. Both general and sentri / global entry had nobody in line and you could just walk up to the point with the guards that do the initial passport glance check.
Some of the paid parking lots on the US side seemed to be cheaper, usually they jack up prices for holidays but maybe things are too dead on Christmas.
All in all not a horrible way to spend a couple hours and just $100 total for parking, taxi each way from the border, 2 girls, and 4 tacos.

Does anyone know what they are building in Tijuana near the border? Is it a freeway? Mass transit?

Looking at making my first trip down in 30 years. Plan is to schedule an escort then after walk around revolucion, get some tacos, then maybe sample a SG before heading home.
With that plan I would like a motel near revolution, from the maps la mansion is off the path. Does anyone know if Kaye8 or motel paraiso would be an ok walk to get back to revolution? Any other suggestions for short term in that area. I won't be going into HK, Chicago, or any of the big clubs.
Thanks.

Hey, I doubt that will work. Pretty sure you'll need a passport.

I don't think you travel to Tj roundtrip with a social security card. A long time ago a drivers license and or a birth certificate would be enough. Have you been paying any attention to what has been going with immigration in the past year?

Posts: 155You could've if it was 2 years ago but nowadays even to get into Mexico, you need proper documentation, which is a passport. But you can try your luck with a Birth Certificate + Real Id.

Hey, so some friends invited me to TJ.
The thing is I don't have a passport, I was thinking in taking my SS card and my I'd, will that make it? They want to stay a week.

Posts: 560This is all correct based on my recent trip.
Adding to it, when I go in a private shuttle van into TJ, I haven't even have to show my passport several times. I have passport card and a SENTRI for coming back.

Posts: 10This post is not entirely inaccurate, but sounds like its just reading off a description from somewhere online vs personal experience or from someone who hasnt been in quite a long time. A few things:

- a passport card is perfectly fine for longer term stays, not sure where you heard this from but its never been true that you needed a passport book for 3 day visits. Even beyond a week the card is good but you will need to pay for the longer term fmm which is for stays of 8-180 days vs the free short term fmm, but the card is perfect valid.
- mexico has been 'phasing out' the fmms for coming on at least 2-3 years now, if anything they've just streamlined the process more (for land crossings, the digital fmm is already in use at many airport locations). Don't sweat the fmm, when crossing by foot since October 2024 they have passport scanning machines (scans both the book and the card) that will fill the fmm for you, they print it out, rip off the bottom and you're on your way in under 2 min. You don't need to fill anything or even say your name, just hand the passport card / book for them to scan.
- for < 8 day visits you don't need to show reservations or proof of stay or anything, they ask where you are going you can just say "tijuana" and that's it, guys get nervous not wanting to say HK and nervously start blabbing about a dentist they are going to and throwing out street names. Relax. Just say "tijuana". They just want to know how deep into mexico you are going, no one cares about your itinerary. For stays longer than that (where you are paying the fmm fee) they _may_ but very very unlikely that they do, maybe just drop a hotel name but I've never ever seen or heard of them asking to see printouts with departure and other details, and that's if they ask anything at all.
The most significant change for guys who haven't been in a year or so is that its much harder to enter mexico without a passport. You can no longer just ask to pay for a long term fmm in lieu of a passport, this is what used to be called 'the bribe' and its gone. Guys also used to walk through the locals line, that's gone, even if you look mexican af they are even checking for passports or mexican ids (ine) on the mexican side as well. If you don't have a passport (get one!) you will need to cross by car or try otay crossing. Every single time I cross I see a whole bunch of guys with no passports lined up against the wall outside the office and they shuttle them off in groups to go back, every time.

Posts: 250If you plan to stay in Tijuana for 3-Days (exactly 72-hours -or more) You will need a valid US Passport Book (-not just the Pasport I'd Card).

A valid US Passport is required for all US citizens, regardless of age, in order to cross the Mexico border.
And you will also need to complete a Forma Migratoria Múltiple Card (FMM).
The Forma Migratoria Múltiple (FMM) document is mandatory for most visitors entering Mexico.
The Forma Migratoria Múltiple (FMM) is free of cost, for stays in Mexico of more than 72-hours for up to 7-days limit.
The FMM card can be obtained for free at the port of entry when crossing by land.
To get the FMM card, you will need to present a valid US Passport, and show some proof of your intended departure. (Hotel check-out date or other reservation information).
Be advised that Mexico is in the process of phasing-out paper FMM's and will be replacing them with a stamp in your passport book, so be prepared for either format.
What to do when you exit Mexico.
Be sure to keep your FMM paperwork (or passport stamp) safe & secure, because you will need to present the FMM paperwork (or passport stamp) to border officials when you leave Mexico.

Can a good time still be had for a multi night visit to Tijuana for $1,000 or less?
For this challenge. Let's say your spending 3 nights in Tijuana and don't already have a paid VIP card or any other discounts. Your overall trip can be more (airfare, other parts of vacation), but you have $1 k walking into TJ & that has to last 3 nights.
Further, provide actual details such as $xxx for hotel, $ for tipping, $ for food, $ for sex, etc.
How are you "wheeling & dealing" to make the money last & still have fun. How are you trying to get deals or stay entertained with keeping the costs down.
