I walked by UM spa, it looks like it has been vacated. I think the person I saw last time it was the landlord or the management company was trying to clear out the spot.

They removed the window covering, you can now see the inside so I think they're out for good.

I had a chat with mamasan that Old Town Spa is permanently closed. The building owner has sold the property and the spa is out.

I'm not sure what will be of that spot. She said that Goleta is a good spot, people are nice compared to SB areas where they always try to snitch on you.

It's a good spot, one place less in town.

I saw something interesting today on UM Spa. I was walking down, and I notice the door was open wide. I saw a woman around late 20's to early 30's wearing button down shirt and form fitting jeans. She walked out of the spa and goes into Janine's next door. So, I think this is the provider and not a customer. She's looking great. This place could be now open, someone can check it out.

Went twice. Door locked and lights off. No answer to calls or text.

I drove by this evening around 9 p. No signs of life. I've check in the last few weeks in the morning and afternoon. Definitely seems out of business despite some ads still updating (may be automated? Bummed I missed them, although I didn't like the idea of entering via such an exposed parking lot. The signs next door warning of video surveillance probably didn't help them.
