I don't blame you for being suspicious, but the sheriffs serve warrants and evictions. I have seen that before at extended stay hotels.

Actually I saw on the news the other day that the sheriffs are going to start doing more police work. They were talking more about traffic violations, so I don't know if that would include prostitution or not. They said they were adding radars to all of the cars, so they could start pulling over speeders, etc. Not sure what all this includes, but might keep an eye out.
