That post is from 2010 and much of the info is out of date and contrary to my experience. For one thing, "don't haggle" is terrible advice.

Prices have gone up since 2010, but the rest is pretty much spot on for a good FS AMP. The "beg for a handy" Chinese AMP and hotel Asians are a different thing.

Unless I have the providers number (I do have a couple), I just show up and take who I get.
