Nah, you're not wrong at all. Paying over a bill to smash in your own car, while she won't even spring for a cheap room, feels backwards. For that kind of donation, you should at least get a bed and some uncovered service. It's a bad deal, for sure.

I've visited quite a bit in recent years. While I certainly miss the Adelita's days, it's still pretty good. I do miss the days when $60.00 could get you everything that you want, but negotiating with a supermodel caliber chica in her lingerie for under $.20 is still pretty righteous, and far better than anything we're doing here. Regarding safety, my Federales friends from the old days tell me that ZR might very well be the safest spot in Mexico. With the Federale and military protection that's been put in place. They do not want a story about a dead gringo on the San Diego news. I used to spend a fair amount of time walking around the block, talking with the chicas and occasionally finding a diamond there, but now there's as many soldiers carrying FX-05's as there are chicas. I'll stick with the clubs like HK and Chicago for now. If I have a different experience on this trip, I'll update.
