Good question about what prompted it. I access the site from both my phone as well as my laptop. And yes I always access it through a VPN. The only thing that I did different this time was I tried to process the transaction it when I was using the "incognito" browser on Chrome instead of the regular browser. And yes, I guess if there's a silver lining I guess that it's that it got flagged before the transaction went through and billed my card.
