If you are in Soho, my advice would be to go either uptown (just a little bit) to enjoy the many spas in Midtown. In midtown the service will be great, rates consistent with service (HH 240,1 H 300 to 340, approximately).

The two closest reliable places that I can recommend are lifeherenyc.com and risingsun8.com but both places are in Chelsea / Flatiron, several minutes north from Soho.

There are some low-level places in Chinatown that have been discussed here, check out the board for Manhattan Chinatown. There was a decent spa near Wall Street, not sure if it's still open or not.
