Miscommunications happen all the time, but never did an agency or provider threaten to share my photo and info.

That loses all trust in them. That's a lot different than writing a negative review. That was taking it to the next level.

I really don't see why there are people criticizing what you did.

You had a bad interaction in which they berated you, so you wanted to tell others about it. That's what this forum is for. Let others know publicly if something goes wrong.

Then they threatened to out your pii, the same pii agencies often claim is only given for verification purposes and then deleted (that of course is a lie).

At that point, you did a good job and it took balls to post this here letting everyone know that this is what happened.

They thought they could use your pii as leverage, weaponizing it against you.

Some people for some reason think this is some exclusive club bs and mongers should be grateful or some crap. Nah. We pay our money to get services in return. If we get treated like crap why shouldn't we post about it on here?

And if people as a result of your post don't want to to go to that agency because they don't want to be threatened with their pii being disclosed. Then good. It's working as intended.

Like you've said, ignoring the problem and sweeping it under the rug will only make these sellers think they can do whatever they want with no consequences.
