Posts: 426Well I saw Empire and Far East and the old Relax Station on the news. Guess they've been targeted for shutdown saying they are performing illegal massages without licenses. Doesn't look like they are arresting everybody, just trying to shutdown them down.
The city has way more drug and shooting.
Issues, car thefts and homeless people and this is their biggest concern? Whatever!

Looks like all the Louisville ads are gone from STG and they have ramped up the Evansville ads. The Jeff / Clarksville ads seem to have been toned down as well.

Now is it just a coincidence that they announce they are going after the massage parlors and then on the very next day the mayor announces that he is running for reelection?

I have not been to any in quite awhile, but, the last two girls I saw at Stress Away spoke really good English and were from San Diego and Las Vegas. I just assumed this was pressure in regard to the ICE Activity this year. I am honestly surprised it hadn't happened sooner.

But I don't think they will actively go after escorts. I have seen or met a few off of the dating or sugar sites so doesn't sound like it would be a useful expensive of taxpayer dollars.

Posts: 27Every girl I've ever talked to about this has basically trafficked themselves here. Sometimes they owe a debt to the person (s) who got them over here, anywhere from 20 k-60 k from what I've been told, but after that it's all profit. And they can pay that debt in a matter of months. Some of these girls are rich as hell. I'm sure there are some cases of trafficking but that's not what this is about, LEO isn't spending all this money on task forces to save a handful of Asian girls. Got to be about missing out on the tax money or something else.

That's the best you can do. If you're not on tape or caught in the act then just stick to the "I'm only here for a massage” defense.

There just not going after the message parlors most likely there go after the escorts as well. But that being said this might bring some of these girls back to the streets. Hell we have gotten to the bottom of the barrel as far streetwalkers goes with a lot of areas most non-existing. Lot of your escort have gone the route of escorting and massage. Like in any business there are cycles this will be part of it IMOP.

Trying to legislate morality as usual. This seems to ebb and flow.
