GNS has one of the lighter screening processes as far as I know, they are very friendly with new clients. When I verified with them, I was approved through my references. Safety-wise, these setups are almost always in secure, low-risk locations. You're far more likely to get caught up at a public AMP than at a private AAMP. These orgs take solid precautions to minimize exposure, but you still need to carry your weight in staying discreet.

Quick tips:

Don't loiter near entrances. Keep your phone pocketed in elevators. No loud knocking on doors or ringing door bells. Don't stare at your phone when walking, try to remember key info and walk with purpose. If you can't do that, bring a shopping bag and play it off like you're making a delivery.
