Thanks for the intel. Sounds like a standard, get-the-job-done kind of night. Good to know Destiny is still out there and operational, even if it's just mechanical. Those nights happen. At least you found something and got out safe. Appreciate the heads-up on the scene being thin.

Had a night in LA with loose enough time constraints, so I went for a tour of the Fig. Lots of girls out, roughly every corner 110th-Centrury, then all through the 80's, 70's, 60's. All asking min $120 for something like 10 minutes. Some had rooms, I talked to a cool seeming younger one, said she didn't mind giving up her butt, and figured she might be OK to hang out with and maybe I could still respect myself for paying 6 x the East Coast price for. I will be visiting soon. Looked at most of the hotels I could spot nearby and didn't find a good one to bring a late night visitor to (I may just be an idiot). As in one that allows visitors at all to begin with (some just don't), one with outside access doors to the rooms instead of having to walk by the front desk (preferably), and one that doesn't have an out of control roach / bedbug problem (spiders and lot lizards are OK). Are there any decent spots to stay anywhere near western or fig for a tourist like me? Or am I stuck with whatever I see on airbnb?

I got to the laundromat a few pussy hairs short of midnight.

On the way there was a gal on 2nd and western. Sort of a zaftig dark skin gal.

I get to the laundromat on western and oakwood, and noticeably absent was the shit brigade of knuckle dragging pimps in their late model cars Nissan sentras. I walked the area and I did not see any cameras, and I walked from oakwood to Melrose.

However, there were also very few hookers. I think I counted at most 10-12 ladies. Two-three were north of the Winchells, not worth commenting on. On Clinton there was a black gal with long magenta hair with extra ass on the west side and on the east side a tall white gal with that ripply skin like she just lost weight using meth as a fat shot.

There were some gals on elmwood - 2-3 - black and not good looking.

There was a gal running in a leather mini skirt and a black top crying and I tried to follow her but she had some steps on her and I think she got in a car.

At oakwood itself, there was NEVER any girls at the laundromat, except for one pimp who had his girls hop the fence and hot foot out of there.

At the KFC a totally high black girl was twerking.

I did some whites and left around 2 am.

I did see what I think were some pimps in the Winchells.

The area was very policed. I saw at least 5 squad cars up and down. The traffic is nothing like fig but I could tell from the nonevolved types in their shit ass four doors hunting for poon that the customer base on western comes from a baboon exhibition at best.

Short story is I wasn't even looking for a good time I was just passing through and you know how these 304's are! So one of them and I knew her from another time was knocking on my window and of course I didn't want to be rude so I rolled down my window and was polite and said not today. No cams that I could spot, granted I was driving so couldn't get detailed look but nothing that stood out. Someone did mentioned they got a letter but can't verify it was from Western. The Fig forum mentioned letters but I think it was mostly guys making that dreaded no right turn from 11-6 violation and got caught talking to a girl. Ill update if I get more info.
