I have known Lily / Tiffany for some time, and she provides excellent massages that are comparable, if not better, than those offered at larger massage or spa chains, often at a more affordable price. Scheduling with her is usually convenient, although there have been occasions where my appointments were changed or canceled on short notice, which has been a minor inconvenience. I went in today and my masseuse came in with a sad look on her face telling me she had 'bad news'. Then explained with new owners, all extra activity was forbidden. She offered to refund the house fee but I stayed. Still got a steam but shower was now clothed with the oversized shorts they offer. She left at end of shower for me to use water basin to finish rinsing on my own and had to towel myself off. Then in room received the same solid massage but no teasing and absolutely no extras.

If anyone has a solid L1 place that carries a legit pretense and, ideally, is on the North Shore, please let me know. I left my number with my masseuse in case things change at Holistic.

This is a shame. After reading reviews here for long time, a few months ago I drove up from south of Boston and had a very good experience (albeit basic L1) there, and agree, legit enough I wouldn't have a problem explaining the visit to anyone.
