About 001s, make sure they are the right size. The Japanese ones are a bit small for many US guys, but the L size 001 will fit an above average guy. There is even an XL size but they are harder to find (may need 002 series). There is also a US brand for 001 but I don't have experience with them, I stick with the Japanese brand which is the gold standard imo. Even though the condoms might cost $1 to $2 each, they do their job well by being thin, superior strength, heat transfer, texture transfer. They are expensive even in Japan too, but people choose them over much cheaper condoms there for a reason. 001s don't solve everything and it's not the same as bbfs, but it's well more than halfway compared to normal US condoms which are rated 004 to 007. 001 = 10 microns, 004 = 40 microns, 007 = 70 microns. Younger guys who can perform well do not need 001 imo, they may be better sticking with normal condoms. It's not for everyone. With bb often being $100, think of it as a $98 savings to get more than halfway there. And it is hygenic, if you have ever had to wash carefully after bb the difference is obvious. The decision is not just about feeling or cost alone. 001s are useful for cbj, avoiding bb upcharge, and greek.

The worst thing about 001s is they take practice to put on, always practice once despite the cost. Due to being so thin, they are hard to unroll at the start. Maybe almost impossible if you don't have the right size or practice. Some kgirls will unroll 3 inches manually first and then stretch it out to drop over your dick and before unrolling the rest. It can be irritating for a girl to unroll it on you wrong, so that's probably why. You are supposed to be erect when putting on a condom, and this is especially important for 001s. But as long as you are reasonably hard, what I do is open the package and push my finger to unroll the 001 2 inches down my finger, then slide on the first 2 inches. Then unroll.

The last tip I'll say is the feeling of 001s gets closest to bb near climax. The biggest gap is when you are not yet erect. So it starts at 50% in-between GFE and bb when mostly erect, then can approach 80% (basically can't tell) at peak. For guys who have trouble performing, as soon as you do get hard I would put it on, get a bit of cbj to get harder if it helps, then start at it.

Good condoms are especially important for anal. Studies always note the risk for small tears in the skin are much higher for anal, and a condom dramatically reduces that risk with reduced friction.
