Also, there are non-STI infections that have the same symptoms as STI infection. Everyone's mouth is full of bacteria, normal bacteria that is a normal part of the environment, and when some of this otherwise normal bacteria ends up someplace else, it can cause an infection that mimics something worse. You can also get symptoms from a UTI, looks exactly like an STI, it's just generally rare in guys. Standard course of treatment will generally resolve all of these.

There are a ton of things that can the issue. From the biggies of Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Herpes, Syphilis, to the various UTI bacteria, and then other bacteria than can caused from sex or other means, such as Mycoplasma or Ureaplasma. They ran multiple urine cultures and followed up results after a few days and all came negative. All the biggies were negative also. So everything that was tested, except HIV (didn't test), came back negative. And the doctor had asked if I wanted a full panel of all known STDs, which I said yes.

But again, that is such a sensitive area, there are a myriad of things that can cause it. I was even thinking maybe overuse of delay spray, as on occasion it does burn, but never do I spray it inside. Low dose UTI antibiotics did nothing. No Cranberry juice, none of that OTC probiotic urinary crap. Wasn't until heavier ABs given, did it go away. So was it an STD? Was it something else? Who knows.

Luckily for me, I had in the past, a UTI. So there was a past history. No rash, no spots, no bumbs, nothing abnormal. But happened 3 days after seeing this provider. So I won't be seeing her again.
