Has anyone made a recent visit to We Spa? Curious on talent and services since Tina's departure.

From what I've heard and briefly observed, it's kinda gone downhill. Older lady bought the place and went cheap on things, also reports of typical Chinese cooking which is done times off putting. So older, not as attractive, not as good a massage, place not taken care of how it was.

I think it's just the 1 lady at the moment as not busy enough for more staff.

Like most places, once they know you or you look like a decent person they don't collect up front. But yeah that was a mistake on her part, and sounds like this person may be a repeat offender. I've known enough of these providers personally to know how they share a lot of info about customers not only internally but to other providers in other spas that are part of their chat groups. Not a smart move to do this if you are planning on getting other massages in the area. Either way it's just bad Karma, stealing of any kind is.

First time I went to Siam a situation happened like this to me. Not sure exactly what happened but they motioned me to the massage room without paying the house fee. After the massage she was standing by the front desk so I gave her the tip. After I had to mention to her that I had not paid for the massage yet and still needed to pay the house fee. I 100 percent could've walked out if I was an asshole and nobody would've been the wiser.

I thought maybe this was a fluke as it's literally never happened to me before at any of the places I've been to. Now I wonder if maybe someone is just bad at their job and not asking for money up front? 2nd time I went it was a different girl and they asked for the money up front.

How did this happen? I'm genuinely curious. I've always had to pay upfront. Do they not take payments until afterwards there? From my experience, they like to get paid upfront to avoid this sort of thing and to see how much you brought with you. I would LOVE to see this happen at M1. Mama-san at M1 would probably take out an M1 and follow you to the parking lot! Mama at M1 doesn't fuck around!

Today at Siam Bodywork's in Farmington Hills, some guy got his massage and left without paying. If it's someone on here, you are the lowest of scum. Anyone who's ever thought of doing it, you are in that same boat. Don't know what level of service they did or didn't get, but that doesn't matter. Even if all you got was a shitty massage, oh well, you pay for the massage at minimum, period. If the massage was decent enough, even if nothing more was offered or asked for, you pay for the massage and tip for the massage. Period. If she attempted HE or anything extra, good or not, you pay for the massage, tip for the massage, and tip for the extra. Period. Now of course it's probably not someone from here, and this is a rant not a review, but we need to call out bad monger behavior for what it is and for what it does to the rest of us. Be a gentleman, don't be a dick. And if it's you, you tuck your little dick between your legs and walk your ass back there and pay the lady, because at this point, your photo is shared with every other provider they know.

That's really unfortunate. If they try to go after the guy will bring unwanted attention.

Recent visits have been good there. Got Ana (spelling? A few times recently. She is quite insistent on 100 for standard and is willing to do nude. She threw out the number 200 for lip service, which is too high.

Another girl there recently tried to do a PM. I'm not well versed in that. Either she or me couldn't seem to make it happen, though as far as I could tell both of us were trying. Must be doing something wrong.

Door still says Magic on it. Was driving by recently and noticed the neon lights on. Stopped by to say hello. The host who opened the door was shorter and pudgier than I would have been interested in. Wearing a neon orange massage uniform. Massage is 80 plus tip (whatever you like is what she said). Anyway, was in a rush and not actually in need of a massage so left to come back another day. Anyone tried it out recently? How is it these days? PM fine if you want. Had some time to get out on Friday early afternoon and decided to visit Jenny at Day Health. Thanks for the couple of reviews in advance. Called to make an appointment. Nice space, it is huge just for one person. Jenny is personable, soft spoken, older, not bad looking just older. Got a half hour (my standard when meeting someone new). Her back walking is a plus and gave enough deep pressure to loosen up my neck. Standard handy does allow UTC roaming at least up top. After the finish asked me to sit up and finished working on my shoulders. Out the door, spent $100.

Would likely repeat when I'm in the area because of the quality massage.
