I haven't had any issues since my original post in August. It seems like they were checking for only a week. I was there the following week and parked in the lot at night without issue. You can park on the side lot where the transport vehicles are parked in a row. There is a building with two businesses (one is a fortune telling place) that has a large parking lot that abuts the M6 parking lot. Save you the extra walk from the burger joint.

I suggest parking at the Gentleman's Burger place nearby and walking.
