The https vs. Http thing might be part of it. Another contributing factor might be the perpetually sub-tier services available in the Baltimore metro wasteland. I've found the extra time spent traveling to Greenbelt or NOVA to be well worth it.

Many browsers are now forcing htps, which doesn't work here. I am using Firefox in private mode, which is working, so far.

I've had to use incognito mode of chrome. Safari on iOS wasn't loading the site too.
