Had made reservations there for "legitimate business" purposes a few months ago. Once in the lobby, Immediately noted a "low-rent" element throughout the building, including obvious low quality providers making things obvious to every male who was without a female at his side. The overwhelming smoke and smell of Mother Nature coming from the pool area, neither elevator working, and lots of riff-raff all over the diningroom and front lobby areas made me feel like I had just walked into a flophouse / notel-motel.

Just prior to cancelling my reservations with the front desk personnel, a fellow-guest pulled me aside and informed me there was a shooting on the second floor the night before. That confirmed all my concerns and solidified my desire to cancel my reservations.

All the above remaining an issue at this property would explain why Uncle LEO has gotten involved. Avoidance is the least you should engage in regarding this property for the time-being.

100% agree with your statement I honestly don't know what happened.

These days it feels like everyone is reviewing the same garbage girls on the site. Seems like there's a drought out here.
