Desert Spa looks like a clean new AMP, but they are upselling constantly (Both Kiki and Linda). There are too many AMP's in the area to get into a war with a provider over services. Just be firm and tell her that's the rate and that's it. Then the next part is up to. If they agree to the more than reasonable price of $160, then give it a go and gauge the service. If the service is good, then you have a spot to frequent (with 2 great providers) for a very reasonable $160. If their service is bad, never go back. It won't get better.

Thanks for putting that out there as I too noticed the difference from CA to PHX. Its a good idea for us mongers to recommend spas that are reasonable so the rates stay within a fair bracket. I believe the girls know we know, they just try to see who will pay more.
