Yes it was technically a licensing issue but it was really a manager issue. Someone unexpectedly pulled the rug from under the spa and that was the reason for the initial panic. Whether they reopen or not is up for debate. The "under renovations" explanation has been used by this group of girls before at different spas that never reopened. So only time will tell. Fingers crossed though.

Were closed down because of license issues, they hadn't renewed it. Got this information from a couple of the girls, one that was there when Tokyo closed down. Now they have to start all over with a brand new license and the process. , so probably easier to choose a new name. It's about a three month process of getting a new license.

So it looks like it's M&why is getting closer to opening under a new name.

I read that situation differently. MY bet is that the owner/operators/nymphos of M&Y have permanently moved OUT of that building and the "new" name of Orchid 66 Spa is, my guess, the name of a newly licensed business being run by a totally different talent pool. At least that's the way the usual name change sceanrio works (as did Gardenia becoming Lavender ... a totally different owner and talent pool).

I suppose it's possible that M&Y shut down with some sort of licensing issue (as has been reported ... inspite of the "renovations" story some girls were giving out), and when they went about getting that licensing issue fixed, it was just easier to open with a new name, but that isn't the usual circumstance (reference Gardenia/Lavendar cited above).

A couple of members here purport to be well connected with the team of girls formerly at M&Y (and Tokyo and QQ East), and one, or more, of them may be Happy to let us know what they've heard. Otherwise, somebody check it out (TOFTT) and report back... or at least give the new place a call and ask "who's working" to see if any names ring familiar.

Looks like they get their talent from Canada. Menu is wide open. I think the AMP have some real competition if they keep the rotation at this level. Location moved near blue ocean. Highly recommend. Hopefully this is a sign they are re-opening soon! Man I sure miss the likes of Amber, Sarah, Mina, etc. QQ has been a decent option but we really need a few more top tier places to open back up so we have some variety again.
