Anecdotally, I think the tide may be starting to change a bit.

Completely agree. The number of providers advertising $1,000+ an hour is slightly insane. Even if it was guaranteed to be a great time (which it's not, best case scenario its a coin flip, even at those rates), the idea of going back to that provider consistently is just not something I would ever want to do financially. So many providers are setting themselves up for very limited repeat business at that rate. But, as long as they are making what they want to be making, good for them I guess.
