I let my membership expire back at the end of April, was reconsidering activating it again and I saw the premium membership is now up to $130.00. Am I misremembering that it wasn't that high just 3 months ago or have they done another price increase since then?

I did a 1-month premium membership in May, and it was $109.99 then. Well, I guess I'm not getting premium again. Wasn't it only $70 6-7 years ago? Jeez.

After 4-5 yrs in the bowl I thought I'd seen enough scams to know when to snuff them out, this one caught me slipping. Chatted her up on the site, goes by Sofia. We moved to text, after four or five texts back-and-forth determining that we are on the same page in regards to what we were looking for I asked if she wanted to exchange pics. She said she'd prefer to video chat since you can fake . . .

I think I may have avoided the bullet on July 25 . Not sure if its the same girl. Her profile name was LusciousMusician, 26 y. She had snap as Naty Duran. Met her at Ihop in Wheaton, small talk, drove to apt across the street, parked in garage and she asks for money. I told it doesn't add up and excused myself and drove off. In retrospect two things. One was she seemed friendly with the waiter at IHOP. Second she seemed taken aback that I would walk away. And she was hanging around the entrance to the elevators when I was driving away. Four-four-three area code number.

Yup, exactly the same thing. IHOP in Wheaton, and very friendly with the waiter. Like she knew him and he knew her. The number she gave me was a 667 area code, but that's just a random number she uses from a texting app. But this is clearly her hustle.

Sorry you got hustled. I can see how it happened and it serves as a good reminder to us all. Thank you for sharing.

What error are you getting when you use Blackhawk cards? Any luck contacting seeking support or card issuer?

Not knowing too much about the payment processing industry, it's hard to explain why most cards are not working.

Is 'valid only in USA' one of the reasons or the only reason?

Irrespective, at some point Seeking has to realize that they are losing opportunity to increase revenue by not being able to process these cards.

Hopefully they can come up with some alternatives. Their website does state:

Hmm. Mystery solved, that's where she disappeared after I've met her a few time late last year and early this year. LOL. She gave me an excuse and disappeared, from text, and from site. I figured she either found a BF or a new SD, she never got back to me, but we were going really great and she was having great time in bed and otherwise, so no reason for her to quit other than she wanted to try something else, just like we all do. Not recently, but your description matches my experience a couple years ago. Very mechanical and lots of arbitrary rules. She may do it, but doesn't enjoy it. I honestly can't remember what the allowance was.

And many times my lower offer works better in person for various reasons.
