While it's possible that ICE could target AMPs, the security is fairly robust at many parlors and out of town ICE are probably the AMP's best customers. Most places I go to have a lock on the door and while ICE could break down the door, that would be noisy, slow and expensive if they didn't arrest anybody. The places I go during the day time generally have only 1 or 2 providers working and they'd have to catch them in the act with probable cause to break down the door. LE can't just knock down any door without probable cause or a warrant. Much easier to go to a Home Depot or Lowes and grab half a dozen people than grab maybe one or two at an AMP.
In Louisiana, it looked like almost nobody was arrested, simply detained for questioning and probably let go because I haven't heard of any AMP deportations or prison sentences.
If you prefer Latinas, there may be a bit more concern obviously but until there are some more local reports of AMP busts. It's Happy Mongering for me.

Yesterday I was at my current favorite provider and we briefly discussed the ICE situation that's going on. She told me she's very nervous about it. She feels it's just a matter of time before ICE starts focusing on massage parlors. Their business has stopped advertising. Fortunately, they're in a medical building with no signage. That doesn't mean that ICE can't find them, unless they have falsely registered their business under a different profession. ICE just has to look for business licenses that say therapeutic massage in each municipality, and voila!, they have the keys to the Kingdom, so to speak.

Posts: 51Yup some bullshit. If you don't believe it. Look at the raids they do. Pick up 10 people or so and then release 2 cause they are citizens. Like they don't figure that out until they are getting booked. It's like let's get everyone down to the jail and see what comes up.

Ice is not notifying Santa Ana, according to you and your friend. They are not notifying LAPD or Pasadena to name two. And now it's clear it's racial profiling as this article clearly suggests.

Posts: 449According to a OC Sheriffs deputy I play poker with, these are targeted raids of individuals with records. The locations are known places of employment or a spot where they believe the person they are after will be. Anyone else they come across, unfortunately for them, is fair game. And they always let local law enforcement know where they are operating.

Posts: 363I was going to say the same thing when I was the original post. "ICE" aka dudes in tactical gear with no identifying badges have been going into restaurants, job sites, car washes, home depot, etc. And just straight abducting humans.

Posts: 3260A car wash is bigger fish? They are arresting a person or two at those. I think they'd go anywhere they think they can catch someone, it's even better for them if it makes good publicity.

Posts: 844I think we all need to look at this from a little different angle These parlors that got hit in Louisiana, Sheriff's deputies started the investigation around a year ago. Deputies started it, so it has nothing to do at all with any federal administration. Pure local enforcement, with the goal of shutting these parlors down.

On the other hand, ICE is likely doing little to no investigation, aside from assessing potential targets and prioritizing them. They hit the location in a snatch and grab type operation.
So, in my opinion, this Louisiana raid of parlors has little to nothing to do with the current operations, in what appears to be sanctuary cities. To be honest, I haven't tracked which cities ICE is hitting targets, but Santa Ana and Los Angeles are definitely sanctuary cities.
It is yet to be seen, if ICE will hit parlors. In my opinion and actions by local ICE hits so far, parlors aren't near the top of their list. Time will tell, as it always does.

Unless I'm mistaken, busting MP historically has been much more of a local issue, the NIBY issue with MP being in a certain area.

Posts: 1032This doesn't mean these raids are going away, just because it was started under Biden. Each administration can have their own justifications and devote resources towards it. Biden= Sex trafficking. Trump= immigration violations. From the looks of the video, it looked like easy pickings. Shutting down all those MPs at once looks good to the General public. Remember fellas, We are a minority too.

Posts: 524It says the investigation started last year under Biden. ICE has come after brothels and spas in years past, so if you look at it objectively it most likely would have happened either way.

Went and chatted with the gals after my session the other day, they are all scared shitless these days about the raids, because we all know most of them don't have papers to stay and just here to work, and now quite a few of them is just taking a break and wait this shit out atm, so yea you are not wrong on they are limiting the pool of talents in the market.

Posts: 1032Let me just say, I'm not losing sleep over this stuff, however, there is a concern. Trump and Company are keeping their promise, they are rounding up people wholesale. Rationally, speaking, the odds of you being involved in a raid are probably fairly low. However. These raids have the potential of really limiting the pool of these gals we are very fond of.
