I was in Florida 2 weeks ago and reached out for a "friend". I too got very similar texts and phone calls after. I think I got 3 phone calls and 3 texts. I told them to go fuck themselves and it stopped. Not a big deal, but it could be a serious problem if my "roomate" was around.
