Thank you for your insight the more I talk to people about it the more I know I'm making the right decision. I've haven't been married for about 13 years now I'm good. So I can disappear for a while I'm looking into maybe spending half my time between us and south east Asia. I'm technically retired no I'm not old I'm in my late 30 so I do have a kid. Going in August to see if I like it and figure if I can have fun during the rainy season I should be good if I do the long term things but again thank for your insight like I'm learning new things about the place every day.

I did a deep dive of what I was spending and I figured I might as well bite the bullet and go straight to the source. 350 to 400 an hour me at minimum does 2 just that a lone can get a roundtrip to Bangkok or the Philippines. During Certain parts of the year. So I already booked my Plane ticket for August for 20 days to Bangkok. And I know some news are going to say it's expensive to do that but like I said spending anywhere from 1400 to $1600 every month it adds up quickly To the same thing for a trip for 30 days.
