I think it's important to distinguish between two distinct (but not mutually exclusive) scenarios:

Scenario B) Existing 20-something's are attempting to raise ppm's to higher levels (potentially motivated by sugar influencers).

Unemployment and underemployment is super high among 20-somethings and I think we'll continue to see an increase in first-time entrants to the sugar bowl, particularly from demographics that wouldn't normally be participating (e. 1) You're correct, it's basically an urban legend. Any SD who can afford $10 K per month on an allowance is nowhere on Seeking. Simple as that.
