Woman who was shot yesterday by CBP is supposedly a gang member of Tren De Aragua. She posted regularly on LC and other sites. Probably should give hobbyists pause for seeing these Latina providers.

Posts: 409Maybe I qualify for some cash
I got ripped off via Backpage once. Maybe I'm a victim, too!

Posts: 464I don't think it was anything suspicious. I got a new phone and this site hasn't been working on it due to bad gateway or whatever. But I just checked and it's working again. My old phone worked the whole time. So I just think it's incompatible browser security hardware incompatibilities somehow.

Notice how they use the word trafficking multiple times? False information, as usual.

Posts: 127This was a different level of "disruption" altogether
I, too, would experience a lot of mini-outages (bad gateways, security warnings, etc.) but would soon get the home page to load.

Then, for two or three weeks past that, I'd get the "faux USA SG" pages and log-in runaround. I was seriously thinking that the site had been taken down permanently. I did some searching on the site and found that something similar had occurred a few years ago, which was resolved when the site parked in the Netherlands (hence the. Nl suffix on the address). But nothing from THIS YEAR.
It was all very sus.

Posts: 98Without getting too specific, there are certain things that can be done to websites to make them more secure. Some of those things require other things to be in place first, which aren't in place on this site. This leads to browsers having serious problems when attempting to connect to them. I was having problems a few months ago on my main browser and ended up using a different one to connect to this site specifically, but the original issues I was having appear to have ceased.

Posts: 409Can depend on your browser
I have trouble getting onto this site randomly. Trying a different browser usually gets me in. Eventually, my daily-use browser starts loading the site again so I don't need to manage a bunch of broswer windows, but it IS frustrating.

Posts: 127So. What happened with this site?
This site effectively disappeared from the internet for close to two months, I think.
From one day to the next, I either could not get to any site at all ("Bad Gateway" message) or I got dumped to a dooloop of pages that 'kind of' looked like USA SG, but would never resolve to the dark blue home page I've come to know. It was almost as if you were trying to "re-register" for the site with a user name and PW, navigating other pages with dumb questions and age verification stuff. But after all that, you'd get a spinning wheel that would just hang on you.
I had begun to think that the site was shut down for good after a good month of unavailability. Just by chance, I tried again yesterday, and got back on / in, and looking through some of the posts and forums, I didn't see evidence of any two-month gap in activity. This leads me to believe that not EVERYONE was locked out.
Anybody got any other input or perspective on this?

They passed a law based on false information. If they had actually interviewed the women working in the shops, they would have gotten accurate information. Shame on the legislators that did not do fact checking, and shame on the newspaper for posting false information.

Not sure if it's effective immediately or at a later date.
