I've had this happen with Google voice. I've had texts not send and not show up. It's like the app times out. The only fix I've found is to reload the app or log out then back in. I make sure to do the above when scheduling and when driving there. Frequently, just to be safe. Hope this helps.

Yes, I'll definitely try to remember that because I was using Google voice. I've never really though about doing that, I've been logged in for as long as I've downloaded the app LOL, figured a texting app would be able to handle sending and receiving text messages; especially when designed by a billion dollar company.

This miscommunication seems to be a result of the texting app not cooperating, but I'm not sure why some message would come through, while others wouldn't. (especially with current gas prices).

I have had a few 'Lost Text' issues in other situations so that may have happened. I am assuming you set a specific time and the booker confirmed the appointment. Did you consider seeing who was available at DI that day? With that long drive and valuable day off, having a Plan B might be a good idea.

There's probably no one to blame here, but it's still extremely disappointing. This is only my second time using good heaven, I drive all the way from Cincy so this is pretty far out of my way; but I deserved a little treat and Polly was going to be that treat. I was getting pretty excited, contacted the booker yesterday afternoon, made sure she was still in town and they let me know my appointment was good. The morning of, I called in sick to work and set sail for the city of Indy, texting the booker to confirm my appointment and got a thumbs up. 2 hour journey later, I roll up to the location and send the 'I'm here' text. They responded confused telling me that they told me they said Polly was taking the day off. I told them they didn't and they sent me screenshots to prove they did, but I sent my own back showing they didn't. I guess their messages didn't send or something, and I was / am really disappointed, I asked if Lina was available instead because I already drove all this way, and they told me she had already left and had Polly on staff. A girl needs a break every once in a while, and I wasn't getting anywhere. So, I tucked my tail and took the 2 hour journey back home; balls still as full as they were when I woke up.
