If you noticed a guy obviously watching and surveiilling the store-front then you should have pulled your phone out and and started taking pictures of him sitting in his car. If he gets tough just tell him he is suspicious there watching a store front and that you're going to notify the proper authorities of a possible crime. Call him out. There's no crime in going into a health-spa. Let the tough guy know that if he's watching then he's being watched too. You have to "watch the watchers" and if they want to play that game then call them out.

Posts: 164I read it as they looked so bad after months' long investigation and the embarrassment of getting questionable warrants signed and served they came up empty and were using a scare tactic. A few days before it all went don't I entered and exited and saw the same dude in a vehicle watching. Didn't ask me nothing. I was certain it was someone watching. They had the look and no reason to have been still there literally backed in facing. Not that I care. Nothing wrong with a massage.

Get a massage. Business is slow right now which is nice because things aren't rushed but if it continues numbers go down.

The police need probable cause to get a warrant. They can't just burst in. I wonder how they were able to get 4 warrants?

Posts: 1011I believe the Asheville and Tri Cities raids were only separated by a few days.

In terms of the why for the Tri Cities-look at the calendar. The raids were right before race weekend. I would wager those places make a good chunk of change during that period. Instead they were shut down. Basically an economic penalty.

From what I've read on the Asheville boards, they got hit hard recently as well. Could be coincidence or could have been coordinated. I honestly didn't check dates of posts to see if they lined up in any way.

Mostly because they had fraudulent massage certificates. Could be what's happening up in your area, popo checking papers for fraud and human trafficking. Just my best guess on it though.

What do you think the purpose of the raids were for? It doesn't seem like anything became of it. I see Chinese pressure is open again too.

I think I would still be wary about going to any of these places. I walked into fort henry and there was one woman there. I think she's the mamasan. She said everything was ok but she was the only one there since business is so slow.

A friend swung by Great Wall earlier, said there was a sign on the door that said "I'll be back soon. " Lights and sign were on, must have just been out for a while. They drove down to KT after, had a great massage and the after care was as fully engaged as previous visits.
