The 2001 Odyssey Group has taken control of Mons Venus

Confirmed that owners of 2001 are now running the Mons Venus as well. Uncle Joe still owns the property. This arrangement was finalized in January. That coincides with the announcements of Facebook. More details were published in the Tampa Bay Times yesterday.

The 2001 Odyssey Group has taken control of Mons Venus at 2040 and. Dale Mabry Highway- a renowned strip club founded by Joe Redner in 1992.

In a management deal finished in January but made public this week, 2001 Odyssey Don Kleinhans purchased the business, not the real estate, its owner, Don Kleinhans, president of 2001 Inc. , told the Tampa Bay Times.

Reports show that 2001 Odyssey will pay Redner rent and a consulting fee. A spokesperson for the organization told the Tampa Bay Business Journal that a significant remodel investment has already been completed over the last four months. No financial details were disclosed.

The 2001 Odyssey is notable for its distinctive spaceship structure atop the building and has been a fixture in Tampa for over four decades. The spaceship on the roof is a Futuro house, one of a few remaining examples of the prefabricated homes that hit the American market in the 1960's.

Tampa's adult entertainment industry operates as a business-to-business ecosystem. Strip clubs in the region interact with a broad network of suppliers, service providers and contractors, including security firms, food and beverage distributors, cleaning services, advertising agencies and event promoters.

Redner, born in 1940, is 85 years old. He is well-known for his resilience, having previously survived cancer multiple times, including a public battle with lung cancer for which he advocated medical marijuana as treatment. He remains outspoken on industry, civil rights issues and free speech.

Don and his brother, Jim Kleinhans, have invested in maintaining and modernizing 2001 Odyssey, renovating it ahead of significant events like the 2012 Republican National Convention. The brothers then invested approximately $100,000 in upgrades, including a private VIP entrance for high* profile guests.

Obviously know 2001 and MV, but wondering if there were any others within reasonable walking distance where good extras can be had? I normally frequent Class Act but decided to take a few trips across the bridge and check out Oz. Tons have been said about it before, I'd add that while there I was told the day shift is more fun than the night shift. I haven't sampled day shift yet but I plan to do so in the next few weeks.

Recently I decided to stay on this side and went to Gold Club on Adamo. I don't know why but Gold Club has stepped their game up since the last time I went. This was a Friday night. There were easily 40+ dancers, mostly hispanic with the a few black and white dancers. None of the were the aggressive type. Most just hung out around the bar chatting or on their phones. The ratio of dancers to patrons was definitely 6:1. Women were all shapes and sizes, none in bbw status tho. Majority of women were 6's and above and of the 5 hispanic women I spoke to they all spoke English. It was nice to not have to use my translator app. I did see one dancer who used to work at Class Act. Most women were natural and there were very few bbls and fake knockers. Dancers are 30/ song, 4 for 100. You have to pay the doorman before you go to the couch area. I got 4/100 dances from a thick white dancer named Mesmerize who was all about L1 finishes for an additional $. 50. I normally would never pay that much but the drinks had been flowing for a while. Takeout is available as I left with 3 phone numbers for extra curricular activities. If you are on this side of the bridge and don't feel like going to the other side it's worth a look.

I know what you mean about that dead club vibe. A few years ago I went into Truth on Lois. It was typically dead, but there was one dancer who needed cash and she really wanted to go to a room for a dance. The room was small, but she got naked fast and we did the deed then and there for 60.

I'm sorry I'm not a strip club regular so I don't know the only strip club in Ybor. So I asked for clarification. As stated before I'm not a strip club reg so I don't know what the standard rates are. And a little info on when she might be there or when this took place days nights weekday weekend might help. No need to be a jackass.
