She contacted me, and we agreed to meet up. At the designated time, she ghosted me. She then said that she saw me there and took down my license plate. She tried to blackmail, saying she was going to tell my wife is I didn't give her cash. I laughed and blocked her.

So I am on work trip to Australia and I wanted to get a feel for the local talent. Started chatting with this one and she says she spends alot of time in Arlington / DC area.

Agreed to $700 AUD which is about $450 USD. Shows up at my hotel (with a suitcase) and she looks nothing like her picture. She says can you give me my allowance? I said nope, you don't look like your pics, not even close. She got pissy and says everyone uses filters. I said honey, you need an academy awared if you can even come close to looking like those pics. Gave her the boot (and out of sympathy $100 AUD) and sent her on her way.

She says she will be in Arlington later this summer which is why I am posting so none of you waste your time with her. She isn't ugly but she isn't the same person in the pics.

FYI going rate here in Sydney is between 500-700 Aus Dollars which is about $320-500 US. Got a date with a smoking hot girl tomorrow night, will see if she is for real.

So is going to telegram or WA or snap, a sign that they are potential scammers? I don't like the seeking platform so I like to move to text quickly. Does that make me sound suspicious?

Moving to text, I think, is fine. It's the ones that want to move to telegram or some other platform that are (probably) all scams because they likely aren't even in the country, don't have phone numbers, and are too lazy to get a burner account.
