PSA: please, please, please stop sending women pics that have been on your social media accounts, LinkedIn, etc. Even if you are single. I found out during recent pillow talk that my date used some tools to vet potentials. She wasn't scamming, just checking to see if guys were real, had red flags, and a career that she thought could allow for sugaring. What she showed me could find was eye opening. Photo recognition AI tools and scrapers are accessible enough now that even good women can easily check you out. The crazies, scammers, or LE. Well they can do much worse. Do some research and find how to keep your anonymity until you establish mutual trust with a woman.

Like Pimeyes? Out of curiosity, were you given any names of these tools? I've used some but none that I'd considering eye opening.

I would have to agree with that statement when someone tries to move you to WhatsApp within the US. There is absolutely no reason to do so if you have a cell in the US unless you want to conceal your identity and frankly there are better VOIP platforms to use for that. WhatsApp is very useful when making international calls or calls when traveling internationally. I use it exclusively for those two purposes. I find scammers often on vanilla dating sites, usually Asian women, in their 20's-30's, bi-coastal (have a house in LA and and another in NYC) and always in finance. They always try to move to WhatsApp asap after initial contact. I always ask, why would an attractive 20- or 30-something who is financially well off want to meet older 50-60 year old men? Who are not particularly good-looking? It is interesting as I've had videochats with even some of them so they are real in that sense. But it usually migrates to them trying to recommend some sort of bitcoin investing.

I use WhatsApp for international contracts too; it's just that for sugaring I'm only looking for local women and in my experience a WhatsApp conversation has not led to meeting a local woman. And yes I've done flight attendants etc and the contract was all text. Nobody legit *has* to use WhatsApp. I'm happy to hear a few people have had success but I would still be wary of anyone who urgently wants to switch to that app.

I guess just to play devil's advocate I've had many successful encounters / arrangements with women that prefer to use WhatsApp. A few reasons that I can think of, there are quite a few ladies on there that are airline attendants. Many fly internationally so if they're overseas and trying to text with the locals in said county WhatsApp is an easy solution. Another common reason that I've seen quite a bit when sending pics is the ability to control how long the end user can see them. A lot of women will send me revealing pics but don't necessarily want those types of vulnerable pics floating around out on the internet, especially when sending to a stranger. Which I can totally relate to. Also the sense of security that the message is encrypted. Also, someone like myself who uses a crappy free texting app that's not secure / encrypted and it does a horrific job when it comes to trying to process a video a gal is trying to send me it doesn't really work at all (shout-out to TextNow) LOL. Whereas WhatsApp does an incredible job of processing video in high quality. Also sometimes my texting app will glitch when it comes to sending and / or receiving pics, WhatsApp has no issues with that at all.
