Yes, this is a problem with TER and especially on any site that does not allow replies. I've known it for over a decade but glad someone has found more proof.

Shilling obviously happens, and you can see it in reviews that clearly or factually don't match the girl. For example describing things a girl definitely doesn't do (ex: anal being the most clear-cut obvious example). I used to see review after review of girls offering anal but they definitely didn't do it, none of them did! The writing style of all the fake reviews was the same, so I knew it was one person writing those particular shill reviews. This was over ten years ago, it has never gone away.

New shills showed up on TER over the years and followed a new pattern. You could see they reviewed girls for multiple cities left and right. TER admin noticed too and clamped down on some of them, at least the ones that were too obvious.

In recent years, you can see the shills will criss-cross every agency too. I've read maybe 5K TER reviews, and it becomes super obvious if you read the TER reviews after you've seen a girl. You can see who did or didn't see a girl. Even if I don't agree with a real reviewer's opinion, I enjoy reading their fun anecdotes and appreciate insights I get. They make valid complaints or at least believable complaints. Before seeing a girl, you can only suspect on some of the shill reviews though others are obvious.

For complicated reasons, I never read TER reviews before seeing a HYA, I haven't in 9 months. TER is not useful for a HYA hunter, though it's useful for service hunters. To be clear, if you are a HYA hunter you achieve negative intel after reading TER. You are worse than before you read anything. I've done it more than 10 years before reaching this conclusion. I have documented in great detail how USAG is useful for HYA hunters by identifying reliable HYA reviewers, unlike TER which is worse than nothing due to misinformation (ex: old girls become young on TER without any pushback).

The biggest difference USAG has with TER is if someone posts obviously wrong info, someone else will call them out soon enough. As proof, in LA when someone says a MILF is 20s, you get 8 guys calling him out in 2 days:
