How is this in any way, shape or form a "sugar baby" meeting? Sounded more like a massage type meet up. I'm just confused.

99% of the time when they are telling you they're worried about being scammed they are a scammer themselves. I don't know how some guys get fooled by these scammers, they seem to all have the same MO.

I obliged in case there was a chance that she was changing her mind but no luck and I dropped her off at a random stop sign in a nearby neighborhood.

I inquired about her 2-3 weeks ago and received a couple of feedbacks (just so you know that those are also about her).

Ultimately, I ended up never seeing her. Comms were erratic. I set up a date twice and she disappeared the night before / day of which kind of gave me feelings that she's seeing too many men at the same time, which is a big turn down for me.
