Not the nicest area but much better than Big Lots parking lot next to Azure. And if the weather is nice there are three three more spas to check out: Pink and Cherry Blossom short walk North on 122nd and Mayflower East of Azure on Powell.

The unsavory types, nothing to do about them other than walk past or come back later.

Tried to visit Azure Spa today. The one on 122 and Powell, looks like it's had a number of names over time.

Christ on a cracker what the fuck is with this area? The area to park is full of broken down cars with people sleeping in them, guys passed out sleeping in the street and trash and crap all over. So I do a drive around and see the front gate on Powell, looks like a clean way to get in, I park in mini-mall lot behind the shop, avoiding cars doubling as makeshift houses dotting the lot. Take a walk, get propositioned by a strung out street walker that offered to blow me with her one tooth mouth for 50 bucks (nope). Get to the front of the shop with a sign to go around back. FUCK.

Got to walk back past the toothless hooker and I think alright, fine, I'll brave the campsite and landfill behind the shop to see the goodies inside. Nope, think again intrepid monger. As I come around back the two passed out dudes are awake, shirtless, pants falling off their asses fighting over the woman that's by the back gate, squatting and taking a piss in the street. Turned on a dime and walked back to my car to see a suspicious fella looking at my car like it's his next housing upgrade. Azure is off the list.

I'm not some suburbanite, afraid of a little urban grit. I didn't feel like it was a dangerous location, just more sad, annoying and fucking gross. Fuck, at least clear the busted up cars out of your customer parking if you want to make some $.

I've never paid more than $$ for an hour of fun. If I'm not looking for any massage I just go in for 30 minutes, pay the house and drop $100 and ask for boom boom. I'm willing to part with $260 tops for an hr. I generally stay between the $200-240 range whether for an hh or an hr. As I said in other responses I attempted many times to implement what you're suggesting at A LOT of places over 4 going on 5 now months & only 7 or so times I've gotten $200 or so for an hr & $180 but it's very rare for me at least. I've walked away many times, taking my ball & going home or to another court & to no avail. At times it worked when it was slow or at not as popular places per se. Last time was two months ago with candy from nice spa which is probably the best FS option for Beaverton area. As I said to another guy in a response, that I got to hand it to him getting $200 or under at candy massage for an hr, in a very popular place is godly. Perhaps he's build a lot of rapport with them to get that price or he's very great like you're indicating of yourself here on convincing said AMP chick to take the amount you prefer for a massage plus boom boom.

Wouldn't say it's a hobby & a waste of time per se. I'm just a cat exercising my biological nature that's it. Nothing more, nothing less. Is it just me or are the majority of all conversations on this board focusing on just a handful of spas? I haven't had time to read each post lately, but seems to be a little redundant right now, maybe I'm just popping in at the right times to see similar posts.

Most of the discussions do seem to center on up to five spas (Candy, Azure, Love, BaoJu and one over in Vancouver, the name of which escapes me momentarily) that are dependable and the rotating ladies of good quality for a reasonable price. But, I don't see that as a problem or a quibble. That makes sense, doesn't it?

We all know that if you try a place that hasn't even been reviewed here within, say, the last year, you are taking more of a chance with who greets you at the door, whether you can negotiate what you want for a reasonable hour or half hour. If you spend a good hour or two on this forum and read the reviews, you should come out the other side with a fairly solid idea of where to go, and how much to expect to pay for both 1/2 hour and 1 hour, whether you opt for an "actual massage" or not.

Besides the actual all-in figure for 1 hour of massage and boom-boom, I don't see any ambiguities, and there's a solid list of say, 5 places you can visit with some sense of what you're getting into before you go there. Much better than contemplating the hundred or so options in the metro area and having little to no intel going in.

That's the kind of "redundancy" I like. Much better than uncertainty, if you ask me. YMMV.

Others as well & perhaps some on here who offered via DM to meet up. With D I vetted him so we tight & some others. Yep there is some benefits to two coming into a shop that's fair to say. However, as I mentioned on reviews before it could also be a disadvantage to where it could create some uncomfortable situation for some shops as well as we've had but mostly it's been good. Definitely. Still learning & have much more learning to do In this AMP stuff.
