I think it's always up to the individual girl. It's probably easier to not do BBFS if your peers are not doing it in the immediate vicinity of yourself. There are cultural differences in the way sex is viewed discussed and treated. In general China is more conservative in discussions and sex education. STD May be more stigmatized. Japan and Korea sex education is more pragmatic and addressed in their healthcare system.
