See I wouldn't even wait that long. I give them 3-5 min tops. We are paying for their time. And whatever time I have to wait, I have them agree to add on the date or I just leave. I'm always on time and expect the

I agree this kind of bullshit needs to stop. When I say I'm coming, I'm going to be there. On time. Or I will let you know as soon as I do and keep you updated. Almost every time I have to wait. Only some of them even bother to thank me.

So I'm going to start leaving. I think a 15 minute rule is more than fair. And no more Motel 6's or ghetto neighborhoods for me. There's a strong correlation between that and bad experiences.

I've pondered what the root causes for this are. A few possibilities come to mind:

- their "manager" scheduled them and they weren't ready yet.

- double booked playing the odds that one customer will flake but trying to salvage it when two do show up.

- substance abuse that makes them lose track of time.

- they are just flakes in life.

But, no matter the cause, I'm getting less patient with time wasters. I've done the "wait for 20 minutes" thing (fueled up the truck, washed windows, etc.), but I've found that I developed a shitty attitude because they were late, and doing the deed wasn't as fun as it should have been.

I got around to seeing Melanie. She is now on Alma School and Ray, not Alma School and Southern. Setting up a meeting was simple enough and her incall was in a decent neighborhood. We had a confirmed time, and she even asked for my ETA, I told her 20 minutes. When I arrived, she said she needed another five. Then she asked for ten more because her friend was leaving soon. I wasn't having itI just left. Stop wasting people's time.

Because of this, I've set a strict 10-minute rule. If we've confirmed a time and I'm there, ready to go, but they keep delaying or asking me to wait, I'm out. It's frustrating how some people have 20-30 minutes to prepare after setting a time but still can't be ready.
