Would I rather pay $140 for FS? Of course, who wouldn't. But the way I see it, supply and demand rules everything at the moment? When we had 6 FS AMP's the amount was a solid $160 and no one complained. But now, there are only a few left and the price is rising. I also know of a few mongers who readily pay $300 but ask for a lot. Again, the market is a little different right now and the only way prices go down is if supply returns.

Right now, we're lucky to have a few good AMP's available.

I haven't been to this place yet but elsewhere I'm standing my ground at 160. If enough guys are throwing that much to them then that'll become the new standard.
