Just so I'm clear, you can still be charged with prostitution itself just not soliciting?

Providers cannot be charged with Solicitation, just Prostitution, meaning they're either caught in the act or have admitted to an act with a specific customer. So, these Asians were either fucking while the raid happened or they self snitched. Customers can be charged with either offense. The customer is always going to be deemed the initiator under the law here, which is crazy considering this is the actual 'occupation' of the provider.

Yep, someone posted about it in the asian ads thread. Even before the arrests, someone had posted that the ad looked very sus because the address was openly posted and to steer clear.

Because it looks like the stings aren't being released to the media right now I've been skimming the mugshots for Wake from time to time. I'm sure I've missed some.

You can check out one they caught in Morrisville - 3/9/25 Initials ADQ Charge 14-205.1 Felony Soliciting. Looks like he was caught in the act with a he / she, because a prostitution charge is now 'the act' and providers can't be charged with soliciting. It would be very interesting to see if the special prosecutor's office attempts to convince the provider to pursue him for civil damages.

Then didn't answer when I knocked on the door.

Left and came back after thinking there was a misunderstanding, but after knocking again no answer. So I just left.

The thing that's bullshit about all of this is that the providers are all 'helpless victims' now. They have to be protected from the guys saying 'yes' to their offers, who are apparently enslaving them.
