Whether handler or indy? Even if you get to know the place, the handler is kind of "transparent". It depends on the place, you get different insight into the providers. For example, at the Tina / Cherry ACS, you read this forum. You get the number, text the handler, ask who is there. They say "Cherry / Angela". You search for Angela here. Usually some descriptive posts. Then you show up, text handler, "I want Angela". That spot, I've never had the handler send you to wrong room for whom you've asked. So, in that sense, handler is "reliable". Otherwise, you don't meet or have much interaction with handler. Some say they call. I only text.

Another example, Joyce. As far as I know, she's an indy and no handler. I quite sense her personality through the texts, and all indications on this forum is she's indy. Still, the texts are not much different whether she had handler or not.

This belongs in the DC thread, but because some have met her in multiple locations in the DMV I wanted to share.

Thought I'd give Deena another chance, actually two of them in the past week. Last week we had dialed in around 6 last Tuesday and comms were good until I checked back in the afternoon and she went crickets.
