In most cases, a pause is due to an issue with charging the payment method CC has on file for the house fee. Could be as simple as an expired card or a gift card that ran out of $$. For investigating suspicions activities, you would see her Timed Out rather than Paused.

I would bet that Vanessa is in category 3. Only because there's a report of her being on seeking arrangements and the one guy who did get lucky with her. However, most reviewers, including me, have not gotten lucky. From my POV during the experience she gave signs (I didn't go into great detail in my review) that she was comfortable and enjoyed / liked me but not enough to begin anything sexual.
