Mandala in Newton is struggling financially from a lack of clients. I've been told that it is possible they'll close before summer. It's easy to understand why since the prices are high and many of the providers are 50+.

Mandala has been around for decades. It will be kinda sad if they do close because for many years they were a popular busy location with non-Asian masseuses.

Any suggestions for other non-Asian FBSM locations in eastern Mass?

I haven't been to Mandala in many years but there's a simple solution to their problem. Either bring in younger providers and / or up their game.

I've been a long time visitor at Mandela when I was in my 20's. It's not that there are 50+ women there, it's the lack of service and like you mentioned, high price. I was going there when most of the women there were in there 40's and I've seen all of them. I think it was last year that I went and the massage was shit, the finale was decent, rushed and more of a chore than service. The hourly rate was overpriced and it wasn't even the hour. I got maybe a 5-minute massage before the flip and I was out the door in 30-minutes. It was really fun back in the day. But lack of talent and of course, you can't be telling the new-hires of the extras, unless they are veteran therapists.

I wouldn't miss it if it did close as you can get much better service and better looking women elsewhere. Mandela is just that, a memory. They gave me an amazing time for a long time. Everything comes to an end.
