For those sexually active, bb or not, consider the Gardasil 9 vaccine (45 years and under) and Hep B vaccine. Gardasil 9 is more important, CVS etc.. can do it. It prevents genital warts and certain cancers that are passed through sexual contact. Vaccines
It's possible to just do walk in at CVS, but out of habit and to guarantee supplies I do a reservation. CVS lets you choose 3 vaccines for a visit, always an easy visit but wait 15 minutes after to check for any reaction. The 4 vaccines I would focus on are Flu, Covid (updated), HPV (45 years and under), and Hep B. The last two (HPV and Hep B) are important for anyone sexually active, with HPV being a priority. HPV's vaccine is usually Gardasil 9, it covers 9 different strains that cause genital warts and certain cancers. I think it may be covered by insurnace since I did not even pay. However you must get your first dose before 45. It is worth getting just to either prevent genital warts and cancers, but it will also give you some peace of mind about them anyways. Lastly, there is the pneumococcal vaccine for the very young and very old, I think the minimum age is 50. But since there are age exemptions for immunocompromised they always list the option - you can claim the immunocompromised excemption and they won't check since it's private between you and your doctor. I won't explain much more about the vaccines themselves, they matter. Wear your seatbelt.

If you are just curious to step through the forms you can choose 'guest' and see the options. My friend Abraham Lincoln picked 1990, otherwise HPV won't show (1-1-1980 is too old). Even though in the example I checked Hep B, HPV is a higher priority.

If you've been through a UTI before and feel the exact symptoms again, or just need to quit bb for a new partner, one extra step is to get treated for any bacteria that are too minor to show up on STD tests. Yes I've had this too, it's basically a yeast infection after sex. Started happening after I was prediabetic and had some sugar in urine, so this combined with sex lead to a fungal outbreak. Sometimes you'll see a white film which is yeast. Then the next few days swelling in reaction, which in general terms is called balantis. Prevention is the key, washing gently with the mildest soap after sex or peeing (using hand soap or face soap). In contrast, a bacterial UTI you'll feel internally instead.
