Posts: 152No BEEF, but post your actual stories as well.
You had been here from 2022, and out of the 17 posts, one was redacted by Admin, one or two on medical / telecommunication PSAs, and everything else is asking about details.
NOT ONE healthy contribution of original review to this community in the first 17 posts.
Please help this community grow. Respect others, post actual reviews and the information will flow back to you.
SG.
P.S.: Am not interested to go on a war on these, but reviews from each person is what helps the community grow.

Posts: 2909This ad is a red flag alone for the request of sending a deposit. IMO 99% of sending a deposit never ends well. I'm sure there are plenty of mongers who can cite that nothing bad happened. Don't do it, just don't.

Saw this ad on tryst that seems really sus: https://tryst.link/escort/sinfullysweettt.
Especially the last bit: "Be sure of what service you want so there are no misunderstandings" like bruh who talks like that.
And this too: "Half of the total payment is due when the service is booked. Other half is when the service is completed" This is like some movie style dialogue. I don't know the policy about whether uncles and aunts can pose nude but the lack of them also seems sus.
Overall imo a proper red flag ad that could possibly sting you for four months or more.

Posts: 563The fantastic UNC Chapel Hill Law School professor Jeff Welty wrote an article about this. The short form answer is that LEO could apply its obscenity or prostitution laws to arrest parties making porn, as the statutes allow for that in NC. However, they likely will never do that (although if a big porn studio moved into NC, I'd bet my ass they would hassle them relentlessly). The biggest reason they wouldn't arrest a small timer is because the Federal Appeals Courts would find for the defendant on a first amendment basis (provided you met the standard, and they would dig into the facts to determine if you were really making art), which would immediately invalidate the statutes that NC has on its books.

If they did charge you though, a defendant would have to pay a mountain of cash for his defense to make it to that point in 3+ years. It might be an effective strategy, however doing it in the open would directly break your cover. My guess is that an HSI team would still attempt to shame you by busting you and releasing your booking photo / information and then dropping the charges after it's been published (they love this tactic).
It's an interesting legal thought experiment though, and if your life circumstances aligned to offset the risks to your reputation, it could be interesting.

Posts: 563It's the Victim Impact Funds limit for this offense (per offense). When they are being convinced to flip (all these teams have counselors trained to sell them on taking this option), they are told they get $12 k. In truth, they must file an application for the expenditure of funds against real expenses (clothing, food, housing, rehab etc). However, Legal Aid will assist them with this application at the courthouses.

Posts: 54So anyone just decide to go full "porn director" vs new law?
So porn shoots are legal (I'm assuming not illegal in NC? So anyone going to operate openly as a porn business? Talk money per movie and scene openly. Shoot on your phone. Could even have an only fans with no subscribers.
Just curious. The talent here is so pathetically bad it doesn't seem worth it. But if you have some UTR you like or something maybe a good idea.

Posts: 1643Curious where you're getting the 12 K number. Just a guess? Or do you know something about that specifically?

Posts: 563I just thought I would add an additional element that I discovered some guys don't realize.
If you were busted for soliciting before, even 30 years ago and paid the traffic ticket type penalty, you have a first offense already. Most criminal attorneys would just have urged you to pay the small fine in the past and move on, as it was a light misdemeanor.
This means if you're caught under the new law, you are facing 39 months in prison for a second offense. A guy who DM'd me thought there was some kind of statute of limitations on prior convictions. There is not. If you've been busted before, DO NOT take the risk in NC. There are other places better suited to your situation. Save up and travel.

Posts: 563I agree with you that the World's Oldest Profession will not be stopped. The point is that I don't want my life, or yours to stop, as we know it, as a result of a junkie that LEO wants to pretend is an innocent princess who just needs a $12 k investment to turn her life around. I'm betting that 9. 5 out of 10 are taking that deal after the HSI psychologist begins working on her. Their loyalty is not the thing we should be banking on. New levels of security are really the goal here.

Posts: 1643Nobody is saying or implying any such thing. Trustworthy is not the same as talking about their reality and where their main interests lie. People will go down with this new law, but this profession will not stop.

Posts: 224Bingo. These girls typically aren't in the business because they are financially sound and like blowing old guys. They are usually desperate or have substance abuse problems that keep them from working a regular job.
