I wrote a review of Lala / Yao at Magnolia recently. It was accurate based on my experience. I'm a big fan of her and my visits are always fantastic. But since then, more than one guy here has reported the requested rate (s) were higher and satisfaction with service was lower. This makes me feel duped and used for a positive review.

I don't know exactly how things work with this group, so I don't know how much the rate issues lie with management vs. Talent (I know Magnolia charges higher house fees in addition to a $20 daily fee to work at the shoppe). Service issues, however, are all on the provider. I will say that compared to other shoppes like Good and Tokyo, the ownership / mgt here seems more short-sighted — grab what you can now, even if it prevents a client from returning later.

I don't like feeling unknowingly involved in what's effectively a bait and switch.

I don't have any power to change whatever is happening there, other than to say I won't be back at Magnolia this month.

Stopped in last week around noon. It was very quiet, maybe due to the rain. I rang the inside buzzer and waited a minute for a girl to let me in. They are mostly busy but you get lucky to hit the right time when they are not. It's hard to pin point but calling or texting ahead always helps because they will put you first on the list even if there is a walk-in.

And sometimes, they put you in the waiting area because the room is not ready, not because girls are busy. So sometimes it could be 2-5 minutes wait, but if I get to wait longer than that, I usually check with mamasan. Then again, I always make appts, so I rarely put behind the curtain. Even if I do, it's never longer 5 minutes.

And NO, I didn't get to see Sophia because she was so popular. Not sure when she would be back.

Place like good offers solid service and good quality girls, it's no surprise they're busy. Given they rotate girls every month, first 2 weeks are usually busy bcuz some of us want to check out the talents firsthand, but sadly lately there isn't new info on the new talents so we can make appt to see the specific girl to avoid the waiting. So if you dislike waiting you can make appt with mms or calling them first.

On the same note, Sophia was so popular last month the traffic was crazy, it was worth to wait for her, she's just so damn fun and hot. Anyone know when she'll back?
