Well well well.

I texted her a few days ago. Quick to respond. Easy set up. Nice place by Music Row. Through text and phone she was hesitant and nervous. This should have been my first red flag. I proceeded to she gave me the access to her building and I went upstairs. She opened the door. Wow. She looks nothing like it. I walked in to see my burner phone had 13 missed calls from the same number plus text messages from the same scammer. They had supposedly the name and address of whoever had this burner number prior to me in Memphis a few years ago. It's definitely not the first time I've come across this I told him to fuck off and if they think want to come and find me I'm not hiding!

This is the classic "Cartel Scam". Sometimes they claim to be drug kingpins from Mexico, others they play at being "business owners" or whatever. This is not the pimp, nor is it the girl in the photos! Neither of those things ever existed. The ad was created for this purpose and this one alone. To extort money from people who have no idea what they are doing and who have no legal recourse.

Block their number and hope they leave you alone. Do not engage with them any further. Stop using your real cell number to respond to ads, get a phone app like google voice. And for the love of god, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
