You're absolutely correct, Rex, this is high risk. But you have to remember this entire hobby is illegal. I knew Fantasys and Divinity shut down about the same time, but this is the first I've heard about anyone going to prison. I never used Fantasys because I wouldn't give them all the personal info they required (pic of I'd, work info & phone, etc.), if they got raided all that information is in the hands of uncle LEO (I doubt they would go after the johns, but I wouldn't like knowing they have all my info on file). Add to that, if a new agency did pop up, I'd be leery for awhile until I was comfortable that it was legit (awkward word, but you know what I mean).

All I'm trying to say is there are a lot of good providers that refuse to go independent but would love to work for an agency. It doesn't take long looking through boards like this to see the sad state of affairs this hobby is locally.

Side note- I've been a member of P411 for over 15 yrs with a boat load of provider okays and this has been the only verification I've needed to see providers all over the country, agencies and independent alike. However, there have been a few that require the kind of info mentioned above. I don't see them.

It would be wonderful if this area had an agency similar to Divinity. There are a lot of marvellous providers around who simply won't go independent. They feel (and maybe they're right) that this has the potential to be a dangerous line of work. Divinity was run by a guy named Brad and he was pleasant and helpful to work with. One day, six or seven years ago, I got an itch and called- no answer and the site was down. Now, I don't know this for a fact, but DMing with another hobbyist, it was explained to me that Brad found out some of his girls were giving their number to some of the clients and seeing them on the side, cutting Brad out. I guess I don't blame him for shutting down, but dam I miss that agency!

I have relegated myself to only partake in this hobby if a high-class provider is visiting or elsewhere in other, larger cities while I'm on a business trip..

I don't come on here often, and I'm fearful of scammers and wasting time on the phone with providers who never answer or have awful mileage. I know this is a arduous thing to ask of a whole forum, but what's, say, the top five providers in Lexington and Richmond?

Once again, I sound lazy, but it would also make it easier for anybody else here just scrolling about. That, and so many providers go irrelevant like a flash in a pan from drugs and arrests from different sort of crimes.
