WYP (which is owned by the same aholes) suddenly paused my profile and won't show unless I authenticate with a license or passport. No explanation - just said it's something they're doing with some users. I hadn't been active for months, had no complaints/alerts, and had 300+ credits. Also said that after that I had to upload four public face pics to be able to message. Never replied to my question on how that supported "discreet affair" as an option.

My read is they're doing pilot A/B testing to see what the market will bear. They could roll back some of the big brother stuff but I'm not optimistic. I've shut down both profiles.

The site was in a no win situation. There's no cost-effective way to fight the scammers / bots and using people to vet accounts is expensive and time consuming at best. They'll lose a large % of their male client base but even so, it's mostly salt daddies like me that sign up for a month at a discount, survey the bowl, pluck a few out, and cancel. While it will be good to lose scammers, I'm curious how it impacts the market. Those 6-7. 5's will see massive decrease in the number of messages fueling their GPS and even the hotties will have a slightly smaller pool.

It may bring back some of the wealthier SDs who gave up due to the slog but I don't see how it results in anything other than a smaller base and increasing ways to charge. They'll start with more tiers (though Diamond is a joke) and monetizing hidden pics, boosted messages a la Secret B.

As long as the daddies can keep their verified picture (s) private, I am 100 percent in favor of this. This should make finding legit sugar babies less time-consuming.
